Level 3 PRO front stage for 2024+ Harley Road Glide® — onboard DSP amplifier, horn coaxials, Zen-H A2B included

The 24FLXPCH-4X2RG is the Level 3 PRO front stage kit for 2024+ Harley-Davidson Road Glide®. It centres on the FLX700.4PRO — Cicada Audio's ultra-compact 4-channel Class-D amplifier at 175W × 4 at 2Ω with a built-in DSP processor. The DSP is inside the amplifier; no separate signal processor is required. The front speakers are CH65.2C Larry Frederick Classic horn coaxials — a high-efficiency horn-loaded tweeter design engineered for Harley fairing positions. The 24HDZENHCAKIT A2B interface and Cicada direct-connect harness are included. HDPG6K 6 AWG power wiring, 24HDRO rear pre-wire harness, Cicada branded grilles, and the 24HDAR-RG amplifier mount complete the kit.

The step up from the 24FLXCXX-4X2RG (Level 2) is the amplifier and speaker: the FLX700.4PRO replaces the FLX500.4 with 175W × 4 at 2Ω and adds an onboard DSP processor, and the CH65.2C horn coaxial replaces the CXX65.2 standard pro coaxial. Because the FLX700.4PRO contains its own DSP, the Zen-H (non-DSP) in the 24HDZENHCAKIT is the correct A2B interface for this kit — the Zen-H Pro is not required.

Who This Is For

The 24FLXPCH-4X2RG is for the 2024+ Road Glide® rider who wants onboard DSP amplification and horn coaxial speakers in the front fairing, with everything included and no separate processor required. The FLX700.4PRO's built-in DSP handles EQ, crossover, and time alignment internally — the 24HDZENHCAKIT decodes the A2B bus and routes clean analog signal into the amplifier, and the amplifier does the signal processing from there. The CH65.2C horn coaxial is a high-efficiency, horn-loaded speaker designed for the fairing environment and the sustained high-output conditions of a 175W RMS amplifier channel.

What This Is Best For

  • FLX700.4PRO — 175W × 4 at 2Ω with built-in DSP — The FLX700.4PRO is Cicada Audio's DSP-integrated 4-channel amplifier for Harley-Davidson Touring. At 175W RMS per channel at 2Ω, it delivers 700W total system power. The onboard DSP processor provides independent EQ, crossover configuration, and time alignment for each output channel — adjustable via PC, no external processor required. Mounted inside the inner fairing via the 24HDAR-RG. On the road: having DSP inside the amplifier means one fewer device in the signal chain, a cleaner install, and tuning capability that matches or exceeds a separate processor in a more compact format.
  • CH65.2C — Larry Frederick Classic horn coaxial, front fairing — The CH65.2C uses a horn-loaded tweeter design co-developed with loudspeaker engineer Larry Frederick, built for the acoustic environment of a sealed Harley fairing. The horn tweeter provides higher efficiency and more controlled dispersion than a dome tweeter, with the directivity characteristics suited to the close-proximity listening position of a batwing or Road Glide fairing. On the road: the horn loading gives the CH65.2C extended high-frequency headroom at sustained output levels where standard coaxial tweeters begin to compress.
  • 24HDZENHCAKIT — A2B interface and Cicada harness, included — The 24HDZENHCAKIT pairs the NAV-TV Zen-H 8-channel A2B to analog converter with a direct-connect harness for Cicada FLX amplifiers. On the FLX700.4PRO, the Zen-H is the correct A2B interface: the amplifier's onboard DSP handles all signal processing after the A2B decoding stage. The Zen-H Pro's additional processor capability is redundant here. On the road: the 2024+ A2B signal path requires decoding before it can reach an aftermarket amplifier — the 24HDZENHCAKIT handles this step with a harness that connects directly to the FLX700.4PRO's inputs.
  • HDPG6K — 6 AWG power wiring — The FLX700.4PRO's 700W total output requires heavier power cabling than the lower-output FLX500.4. The HDPG6K provides 6 AWG power and ground conductors rated for the FLX700.4PRO's current draw at full output, with Harley-Davidson Touring connection points. On the road: undersized power cabling at 700W output causes voltage sag under load — the 6 AWG HDPG6K is specified for the FLX700.4PRO at its rated draw.
  • 24HDRO — rear positions pre-wired — The 24HDRO 2024+ rear output T-harness routes the saddlebag speaker outputs during the initial install. The FLX700.4PRO's rear output channels are available for a future rear stage addition. Connects directly to existing harness without reopening wiring.

DSP Is Inside the Amplifier — Zen-H Pro Not Required

The FLX700.4PRO includes an onboard DSP processor. EQ, crossover configuration, and time alignment are handled inside the amplifier. The 24HDZENHCAKIT included in this kit uses the NAV-TV Zen-H (non-DSP) — its role is A2B bus decoding and analog signal delivery to the FLX700.4PRO's inputs. Signal processing is done by the amplifier's built-in DSP after that point. The Zen-H Pro is not required and is not included. If you are considering the Zen-H Pro as an alternative, note that its DSP functions are duplicated by the FLX700.4PRO's internal processor in this configuration.

The Bottom Line

The 24FLXPCH-4X2RG is the Level 3 PRO front stage for 2024+ Road Glide® — FLX700.4PRO at 175W × 4 with onboard DSP, CH65.2C horn coaxials, 24HDZENHCAKIT Zen-H A2B interface and harness, 6 AWG power wiring, Cicada branded grilles, rear positions pre-wired, and the 24HDAR-RG amplifier mount. No separate processor required. Add the kit to cart above.

What's Inside the 24FLXPCH-4X2RG

The amplifier is the FLX700.4PRO — Cicada Audio's ultra-compact 4-channel Class-D DSP amplifier at 175W RMS per channel at 2Ω. The onboard DSP processor is configurable via PC software and provides independent parametric EQ, crossover, and time alignment for each output channel. In the 4X2 configuration, channels 1–2 drive the CH65.2C front fairing pair; channels 3–4 are available for a future rear stage. The FLX700.4PRO mounts inside the inner fairing via the 24HDAR-RG. On the road: the DSP inside the FLX700.4PRO replaces what would otherwise be a separate processor in the signal chain — one device handles amplification and signal processing, mounted in the same location.

The front speaker is the CH65.2C — the Larry Frederick Classic 6.5″ horn coaxial in 2Ω. The horn tweeter design provides high efficiency and controlled dispersion characteristics suited to the sealed fairing environment. The CH65.2C is positioned one level above the CXX65.2 pro coaxial in the Cicada range, with the horn-loaded tweeter replacing the conventional dome design. On the road: at 175W RMS per channel, the CH65.2C's horn tweeter maintains headroom without compression under the sustained output levels typical of highway riding.

The A2B interface is the 24HDZENHCAKIT — the NAV-TV Zen-H 8-channel A2B decoder paired with a Cicada direct-connect harness. The Zen-H converts the 2024+ A2B digital audio bus to eight channels of analog output and feeds them directly to the FLX700.4PRO's inputs. From that point, the FLX700.4PRO's internal DSP handles all signal processing. On the road: the Zen-H decodes the signal; the amplifier's DSP processes it. Two stages, two devices, no external processor required.

Power wiring is the HDPG6K — 6 AWG power and ground cabling specified for the FLX700.4PRO's current draw at 700W total output. The 24HDRO rear output T-harness routes saddlebag speaker outputs for future rear speaker addition. The 24CHDRGG OEM-style branded grilles cover the front fairing speaker positions.

Why 2023.5+ Harley Touring Bikes Require an A2B Interface

From the 2023.5 model year, Harley-Davidson moved audio signal routing onto a digital A2B (Automotive Audio Bus) network as part of the Skyline OS platform. This means there is no usable analogue signal accessible from the factory system — any signal tapped downstream has already been equalised and dynamically processed for OEM speakers, making it unsuitable as a clean source for an aftermarket amplifier or DSP.

The ZEN-H (and ZEN-H PRO) communicate directly with the factory digital bus and extract an unprocessed, full-range signal for the amplifier stage. On Skyline-equipped bikes, this interface is not optional — it is the foundation the rest of the system builds from. Read the full technical explanation →
